College of Engineering Launches Specialized Training in Collaboration with PULSAR Oil Company

Erbil, Kurdistan Region

The Department of Petroleum Engineering at Knowledge University, in collaboration with PULSAR Oil Company, inaugurated the first day of a specialized training program for its students under the title: “The Most Common Drilling Fluids Used in Kurdistan’s Oil Fields.” The session was led by Dr. Rasan Sarbast, Head of the Petroleum Engineering Department and representative of PULSAR Oil Company, alongside Engineer Arya Falah, a drilling expert, who delivered in-depth lectures on drilling fluid applications and practices in the region.

This initiative comes as part of Knowledge University’s continuous efforts to bridge academic knowledge with industry expertise, equipping its students with practical skills and exposure to real-world petroleum engineering challenges.
