Under the patronage of Dr. Aram Mohammed Qadir, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences and the College of Law at Knowledge University are pleased to announce the 4th International Scientific Conference on Administrative, Financial & Legal Sciences and Prospects for Renewal and innovation. The conference will take place on April 22-23, 2025, at Knowledge University, located in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

Researchers and specialists in administrative, financial, and legal sciences are invited to submit their scientific contributions to support academic and research progress in universities.

Conference Objectives

  1. Keeping pace with developments in banking operations and applying them in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq while adapting the current realities of the region to these advancements.
  2. Utilizing scientific and research efforts to serve society and strengthen partnerships between universities (local and international) and societal institutions to enhance academic and social responsibility.
  3. Exchanging ideas, opinions, and consultations within the scope of the conference themes.
  4. Expanding the scope of research participation to benefit from national and international expertise.
  5. Identifying and addressing the obstacles facing the banking sector in the Kurdistan Region, legally and technically.
  6. Promoting a culture of creativity by fostering a scientific environment capable of innovation and renewal.
  7. Developing a future vision for reforming the banking system in business environments.
  8. Adopting comprehensive quality standards in light of advancements in digital banking technologies.
  9. Exploring solutions, challenges, and opportunities for the banking sector.

  • Abstract Submission Begins: December 15, 2024
  • Abstract Submission Deadline: December 30, 2024
  • Abstract Acceptance Notification: January 5, 2025
  • Final Research Submission Deadline: February 25, 2025
  • Final Research Acceptance Notification: April 5, 2025
  • Conference Dates: April 22-23, 2025

Submission Guidelines for Accepted Research Papers

  • The research must align with the conference themes.
  • Previously presented or published research will not be accepted.
  • Research papers should not exceed 25 pages and must follow formatting standards: main titles (font size 16), subtitles (15), body text (14), and footnotes (12).
  • Papers are accepted in Kurdish, Arabic, or English.
  • Research must adhere to scientific methodology.
  • The first page should include the research title, author(s)' full names, academic titles, affiliations, and contact details.

Abstract Guidelines

Abstracts (150-250 words) should outline the topic, research problem, and hypothesis within the conference themes. Keywords (4-6) related to the research must be included.

Participation Fees

  • Research participation with publication in a refereed journal: 100,000 IQD
  • Participation without research (certificate included): 25,000 IQD
