About the Workshop
Biomass energy is energy generated or produced by living or once-living organisms. The most common biomass materials used for energy are plants, such as corn and soy, above. The energy from these organisms can be burned to create heat or converted into electricity.
In Kurdistan region we have many sources of biomass there for we can using as a resource of Energy.
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
1- Understand the significant of strategic Biomass resource management.
2- Developing and reinforcing participants’ knowledge and understanding of generation of renewable energy .
3- Increasing the Environmental conservation from any pollution .
4- Understanding the regional cooperation and coordination.

- Bachelor degree in Environmental science at the Salahaddin University- Erbil.
- Master in soil science at the Salahaddin University- Erbil
- PhD student in Environmental design in buildings at University of Harran – Sanliurfa_Turkya .
