About the workshop

The present-day world aims to leverage advancements and techniques in AI, IoT, and related fields to address challenges that appeared due to COVID-19 pandemic. This workshop intends to promote the researchers in the computer and communications community to create solutions for mitigating the social and economic constraints to confront the COVID-19 epidemic and prevent its spread. The effect of these solutions is predicted to be long-term as with no specific medicine or treatment in addition to that human society is started to adjust to the social norms of periodic lockdowns, quarantine, and social distancing. This workshop stimulates to use of Artificial Intelligence techniques, data mining, network science, communication technologies, and other related technologies to counter the difficulties arising out of the COVID-19 pandemic.
